FIFA 14 - Nico Gaitán Review

So, today I'm going to review one of my favourite players, Nico Gaitan!   

As you probably know, he got an IF this week and that is the card I'l be reviewing!

This is his card -



I have been using him for, almost 25 games and in those 25 games he has 21 assists, and I think that for a LM is a pretty decent record! In the games that I used him, he had a deadeye chemistry style, which improved his passing and shooting, by 3 each!

Gaitán isn't the 1st choice for most FUT players, because for a winger, people usually want Biabiany's and Walcott's everywhere... but if you don't look just to his pace, you'll see that he has some impressive dribbling skills and also has amazing crosses (which is something that attracts the headers abusers :p )

THE STATS

Let's start with the best, his dribbling - Gaitan has 88 dribbling on his card which is amazing, and also 94 agility,88 ball control and 88 balance and that is really important because it allows him to run through the defenders easily... Just like in real life -
 

Gaitán also has 84 pace, which is pretty good, but in my opinion is a bit underrated ,  I mean just look at the goal he scored this weekend (that also gave him is IF)
  
Gaitán is already a fast player, but in-game he seems much faster, maybe because of his dribbling, I don't know,but if feels like 88!

Defending - Medium/Medium workrates, as a LM as an important role in counter-attacks... but yes, this isn't the reason why I bought him, but he is not awful at it!

Heading - Gaitán is  5'8", so he won't win lots of aerial duels :p

Shooting - This Argentinian beast has an amazing shooting, he has 92 volleys, 77 finishing, 81 shot power and 78 free-kicks ( which are really underrated, I mean, have you seen his "Panenka Free-Kick" against PAOK in the Europa League - if you haven't here it is
) and he also has 94 curve which really helps his free-kicks and finesse shots!

The weakest points of Gaitán are clearly his 2* weak foot ad his 59 strength that can sometimes push him off the ball...

So I would give a 8.5/10 to Gaitán, I bought him yesterday for 18k, and I totally recommend him

This dwarf scored 3 times against me on the TOTW challenge in 2 games, always headers... And I have quite strong defenders regarding headers...

For almost 35 games, he still hasn't scored a header for me :p But he already has 14 goals and 16 assists

ok, he looks good but his league and work rates let him down a bit i think so not sure whether to try him or not
